Overall score: 7/10 The dinner was overall above average. NordØst's interior design looks great, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The service was fine, with fair waiting times and no obvious mistakes/misconceptions made. The cocktails were slightly unbalanced in terms of flavor, and the food was generally decent, but had some obvious, basic flaws that should not exit the kitchen. More info below. Service: 7/10 - The service was just fine, through our dinner we had several different servers, which some might find bad, but I didn't mind at all. No mistakes were made, and very fair waiting times for our food and drinks. Interior: 8/10 - Definitely one of NordØst's strongest points. Very pleasant looking interior, with a calm yet professional atmosphere. Quite nice. Food: 6/10 (Crispy Duck and NordØst Burger) - The food had some of the most both impressive and disappointing parts about the whole dinner. The presentation of both dishes were beautiful, especially the Crispy Duck "wrap". The biggest disappointment was the amount of hoisin sauce in the Crispy Duck. The inside of the wrap had a fine amount of the sauce, which would be no problem if the surface wasn't smothered in sauce too. It overpowered the whole dish, and completely masked the flavour of the delicious, incredibly crispy duck. I cannot fathom how such a product could leave the kitchen, it seems so incredibly obvious. The NordØst Burger was considerably better, with crispy yet fluffy fries, and a juicy burger with fresh toppings. The only negative might be the bottom bun getting quite soggy after a few bites, but it's understandable being a steamed bun.

I was in here at lunch time and had Today's Lunch. It was Okonomiyaki, Japanese pancake. Taste was not bad, but I don't prefer coriander actually. Price was quite reasonable. Interior and view was beautiful.

We were looking for a nice restaurant at first night staying in Trondheim. Well, we found this nice restaurant offering Asian food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and delicious. Crispy duck and the hamburger were so nice and with very good portion. I really recommend to anyone who visit Trondheim.
Great atmosphere and quiet. Cocktails are served slightly too modern for me but still taste good and the food is excellent. I personally had the crispy duck pancake and found it extremely tasty and much less fat than the traditional way though it did have a little too much soy in my opinion. All in all a great place to eat good food in a chilled environment. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Great food. One of the best fusion places in Trondheim. Sometimes the food they serve can have too much salt than what I prefer however the last two times I ordered a main dish or 5 dish courses the food have been excellent. Not too salty and exciting new dishes and flavours. Also their cocktails here are fantastic and has a great variety so you definitely can find something you like. So you should ask the waiter. Their sommeliers are quite knowledge full and they have a decent wine collection. This is however on the side of an upscale place and you get what you pay for.
