Absolutely amazing. High mountains, great slopes. And we had absolutely stunning sun. Almost no people around due to Covid. No problem to keep you distance. Felt totally safe

Trysil being a nice place, it is unfortunately very hard to get in touch with Skistar about bookings done (right now I am in the phone queue 15 min already and this not the first experience of that kind with Skistar lately. ). Please try harder Skistar. Years ago you did much better.

If you want to buy a Skistar season pass you get one price if you order before October, and another price if you order before August - but only sometimes. And of course a third price if you order later. How to know when to order, I don't know. Also, keep in mind that they can close down their whole operation for months on end and still not even say 'I'm sorry' - much less refund your ski pass, which for a regular family is way over 2,000. Dealing with Skistar is the winter sports equivalent of shopping for heart surgery tools on Wish. I really hope some competition shows up sometime soon.

Great ski resort with reasonably large amount of lifts and slopes. One of the largest in Norway. Good kid friendly /lifts/slopes at the bottom. Additionally some nice cafeterias to have lunch in between runs. Also located at a place where there's usually good snow conditions.

Overall was great. Really loved the blue tracks. Would wish that there would be more lifts and tracks opened during evening. The house was overall good, but the sauna was very small (no stages and could fit only 2 adults with basically no room left.) Beds where very soft. Views during skiing where amazing especially when Sun started setting. Heating was good. Supermarket and the tracks where nearby. Kids areas where good for practice and instructors where nice
