This hotel was a very mixed experience. The rooms are actually very nice with large balconies, kitchens, seating and new bathrooms. Everything is newly restored and tasteful. Unfortunately the dining for dinner as well as breakfast was a disaster and some of the worst experience I have had at a hotel. So if I had dined elsewhere I might have rated this hotel much higher. Nice and friendly staff. Beautiful nature surrounding the hotel.

A nice hotel with good food and a nice spa. The pool was large with a great view outside. Though, there should have been more people working behind reception, seeing as there were so many peoole waiting in line. I think it took us more than 20min to check in.
5 stars if you like swimming, are a family, and book the suites as of 42 Square meters. The suite rooms (example 323) are all equally priced, but the first come - first serve, bigger ones have 2 bathrooms and a separate living room and kitchenette. So one bathroom for you and one for the kids. Also a nice balcony and balcony view from the master bedroom. Also you can swim both arrival and departure day, as we did which then makes it price worthy. Pricy dinner, but lots of options, specially for dessert. No lifeguard on duty in the beautiful spa/ "swimworld", so kids tend to be a bit noisy and "taking over" the place by throwing water, screaming and jumping all over, with left alone empty plastic cups. (This could be addressed) But really a beautifully laid out swimming area. Also a very small but proper gym for weight training near the spa. Also included in the room and or spa entrance fee. Makes this excellent for longer stays, or a short stopover as we did when travelling to Sweden.
Great place to be Christmastime. Great for families with kids. Recommended!

Lovely stay and we really enjoyed the relaxing spa with a pool. Delicious dinner and attentive staff. Bring your skis and have a good time.

I love this place... just visited to check the place out and view some properties. Seems like a great relaxing environment for family and kids.. The hotel personnel was very nice! Not the best picture but go check it out..(amazing view on the way) Ask for Fredrik for properties out there
