I really recommend visiting this historic powerplant. The tour was very good and informative. Go there if you are in the area, you won't regret it!

I visited the museum on 22nd August with my 2 children. This was good place to visit. There were lots of information on the history of the site as well as some good stories written by the workers. I would very much recommend a visit and is not expensive.

For people interested in engineering and watercraft a highly recommendable site. Plenty of information in an exhibition, a short but very well summarizing film about the plant and area as well as a impressive building and facility. Touring the pipes is possible, too (need to book in advance with a local tour operator in Odda).

A nice site and worth visiting. You can learn a lot about the history of waterpower in Odda. Getting up close with the generators in the old building is overwhelming and it is nice to be able to go into the control room and be able to see everything up close, without any ropes or barriers blocking your way. We would have liked to get some more technical information about how the turbines, generators, transformers and other machines work and what they do, especially for people who love old technology. It was also a bit disappointing that most of the information on the big posters was in Norwegian. Some had small papers with English and German, but not all of them. Making these translations a bit more easy to find would be great. But if you are in Odda, be sure to visit this Museum. Because it is very educational and interesting.
