Nice campsite with super friendly owner. Cheaper than other campsites in Trysil. 10 minutes by car to the ski resort. They’re planning to renovate the facilities. We will be back in the summertime!

Very very kind and cheerful staff. So helpful. Huts are simple (no water) but cheap and cosy. There are big and good common room to share. We stayed here on skiing holiday. Can definitely recommend!

I have stayed at a range of camping sites in Norway but this one was decidedly my most pleasant experience. We stayed in a two-bed cabin that was clean and warm; all the necessary kitchen utensils were in place, and the hosts offered to help us with anything that we should need in addition (we didn't actually need anything). There is a common kitchen with running water and an oven if you should need it, but this kitchen is quite small so don't rely on preparing huge meals there. After dinner we used to go over to the commons (peisestue) to relax by the fireplace, and it was so cozy there that we usually went to bed all too late ;-) We didn't have a car, but there is a bus stop right outside the camp ground; it takes 15 min. to Trysil centre from where you can take the ski bus. And the hosts went out of their way to help us get to Trysil and back at times the bus didn't run. If you are looking for affordable accommodation for your skiing holidays in Trysil, look no further!
