After a very long day hiking, we were a bit lost and we found the lodge on our way at around 11pm! The owners were very kind and helpful. They let us place our tent on the outside area for free and we were allowed to use the bathroom. The place is very calm and the view is just amazing. Thank you for your help. Imane & Hicham (the French hikers ;) )
We arrived 3 men quite late in the evening and there was nobody there as they where closed. We asked a person if there was somebody we could contact and everything went smooth and we had no problems. There was a room with 6 beds and a shower and toilet. There was soap, towels and bed sheets. The host was very fair with the price when he send us the bill. All in all a very pleasant stay and rest for the next day of trekking.
I stayed here for one night after coming down the mountain from Nansenbu in a really nasty storm. The owner was very friendly and welcoming! I even got the possibility to taste an original Norwegian stew which was absolutely awesome! The rooms are tidy, no TV inside what I liked a lot. There's a commonly used kitchen which is also nice when you want to cook your own stuff. Mobile network is not so good but that didn't bother me because I wasn't there to be on the internet. I would recommend this lodge to everyone who can actually appreciate the nature around the lodge, it's an ideal starting point for hiking.
Very nice owners, you feel like being in a guest family. I'm happy to have been there - it will be a top memory of my trip to Norway.
Nice place, clean room, comfy bed, great view, nice hiking/walking terrain, lovely staff.
