Very nice hotel.the staffs were very friendly. Excellent food,very nice view of mountain surroundings.lot's of snow.it is paradise to be in this place. Si think summer will be nice place to visit.for sure i will be back again.

Lovely hotel! It is really authentic with a cozy atmosphere. The room was like the size of a living room, huge in comparing with other Norwegian hotels. The staff was all very friendly. I will highly recommend this hotel for a real Norwegian experience.

Good hotel for a stopover on the way to the west coast. Ideal if you plan to go from central Oslo, or that region, and over to the west coast on a two-night's trip. Much used by biker's who're willing to pay what it costs for a bed. My room had an en-suite bathroom with only one shower door, causing water to splash all over. Check'in was for us a little bit on the ad-hoc. We had ordered two single rooms online but got double. Not a bad thing necessarily, but make sure, if booking dinner, that you in fact pay for one, not two persons. The hotel is pricey, too pricey whilst compared to the offering itself, even by Norwegian standards. While check-in is digitized not so with the dining. It was operated by sheets of paper and, apparently, did not correspond with check-in details. Food was good, selection was good. Dinner was buffet based. The location is great and one cannot fault the summer's view from either terrace or west-facing rooms.

The attitude and mistrust from most senior staff was quite bad. On the good side the foreign workers working there was polite and helpful. The hotel offers a scenic view, but I would not book a second stay.
