This aquarium is in Ålesund, and it is the most popular aquariums in Europe. The aquarium has a spectacular outdoor area with a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean. In the spacious outdoor space, there is a separate area for a penguin park. You can also experience feeding fish and animals.

Quiet and beautiful place, but needs better lighting!
Lovely little aquarium, lots to see and lots of info on all the creatures. We saw the fish feed, where a diver went into the tank with a bag of fish, as well as the otter feed and the penguin feed. I happily noted that the otters and penguins were not forced to do tricks for their food. The host spoke in both Norwegian and English and written information was also in German. There is a small play area for children as well as a cafe and souvenir shop.
Great aquarium. Really fun for the family. There are many exhibitions and the information for each is really nice. They have a great store at the end.
Very Nice place Clean aquariums and happy animals /fish
Every time I come to Ålesund I visit the aquarium. I always enjoy it, it is not that big but just how they managed to integrate it so perfect in the nature is already worth a visit. A marvellous place.
