Really scenic camping ground. Stayed here for two nights. Saebo camping is an excellent stop on the way through the Hardangervidda. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Sanitary facilities are simple but generally clean (excellent shower pressure and temperature). Simplicity meets the surrounding landscape, thus really authentic spot.

Large camping ground that's relatively cheap, at least for tents. The surrounding mountains and lake provide a fantastic view. Not a lot of toilets. Underground is very rocky, so if you come with a tent bring good pegs.

We had a nice time here as a family, they have everything that you need available including an indoor kitchen for campers if needs be (you have to pay for the stove as a warning, which is normal in Norway I believe). The view is fantastic, my only comment is that if you're camping you need to be a little careful with where you put your tent/park if there is a heavy rain due as this can mean the fjord level can drastically rise due to a dam opening up river, that meant our car's wheels were wetter than expected. The staff did help us move our tent which was appreciated. I would stay here again.

Amazing location, cabins were nice and roomy, beds where okay. Public toilets where not so super and rather old but clean. Same for the showers

If you are lucky as we have been, this place offers a great opportunity to pitch your small tent in an area which gives you the impression of being in the wilderness, close to a rushing river and with mountain view. Compared to the wilderness, you have the plus of having a shower (4 min for 10 Kronor), using the toilets and to clean the dishes easily. Staff is friendly and they do their best to keep toilets and other facilities clean. You can buy things like milk, butter, softdrinks, chips and coffee at the reception, and in the morning you can geht some bread wich you should order the evening before (unfortunately, wie didn't like the bread). It's easy to get to Eidfjord or Kinsarvik by bus. Here we went for shopping our food. And if you are in Kinsarvik anyway, don't miss to have this fantastic burger in the café close to the tourist information.

Great place with a fantastic view to the water. Me and my friend rode all the way from Oslo and this became out first stop om our Hardanger roadtrip. We didnt book our stay beforehand, just called them around two hours before we arrived, since we saw that they had tent spots. Luckily for us there were tent spots available and the man on the phone was nice and told that we could just fine a spot and pay in the morning since he wouldnt be there that late. If you ever think to stop in Eidfjord, make sure to have a night here
