This was well worth the journey from the centre of town to here, and although it appears to be nothing, you then notice this sweet little station. The railway building is fully restored and even has a cafe and toilets somewhat reminiscent of the 50s. Clean, fresh and totally modern in other ways though!! Look through the station- masters window and it's like looking into Trumpton (a children's cartoon reference). The ride itself was fabulous and you certainly got the sound of the old steam train. If you can, ride in the last car and stand right at the back. The views are spectacular.

My children had a slot of fun driving the Draisine.

Endestasjon for Setesdalsbanen.
