Really enjoyed staying here, despite the little quirks. The staff at the front were absolutely awesome. Very kind and spoke very good English, so that helps quite a lot. Breakfast is included, so you have a nice meal each morning. They have a great breakfast spread. Quirks: Bathroom and showers are weird and kind of small. The beds are like twin size (US bed size) and if you are expecting a queen, it's basically 2 twins pushed to one big bed. Only 1 bottle that has 3in1 for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

A little older place with large public rooms (lounge, dining rooms). Delicious food. Friendly staff seemed to understand English. There's a children's Lilliput village attached.

We've spent a total of four nights here the last two years because of the close proximity to, and very favourably priced included access to Lilleputthammer (Olas super ticket). And although the park is really why we are here, as it is so spot on for kids in the age between 2 and 8, the hotel is also very child friendly and the included breakfast is really great. We spent almost 5000 NOK for two nights (2 adults and two kids, two and five years old) and that includes three days access to the park and to the in-house playpark, which is also pretty large.
