We were there for three days and it was quite the workout. Snowshoes up the hill to an awesome view of the bay, dog-sledding, snowmobiling and northern lights in the evenings. Sven was a great host!

Beautiful, isolated lodge. A warm welcome awaits from Svein and all the staff. You really feel at home here, there's even a indoor shoe policy which means you wander about the lodge in your socks or slippers just like home! Great activities on offer and attention to detail is second to none. In winter make sure to go husky sledding and snow mobiling! Snow suits, warm boots, gloves and even hats are provided if you need them. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate with everything you need. Hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel are provided. Make sure to bring anything else you need with you as the island does not have a shop. A perfect slice of paradise awaits!

Very warm welcome and stay and great view over the sea. Familiar atmosphere. Beautiful hiking just close to the lodge. Will come back in winter to see the northern lights. You can also find friends there when you stay longer!

The living room is nice and so ist the view from there. But thats about it. The rooms are tiny. You cannot fit two people with two suitcases in there. The landlady is very rude to the guests. The landlord in the other hand is a real nice guy. One star for the view, one for the landlord. It is pretty hard top get to the Island. The ferry only goes twice a day - and every at different schedules. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

This is the most beautiful place I've stayed. The hosts are wonderful and will do anything for you. All the trips come with top level equipment. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was due to the extremely high costs of any extras - but maybe that's just Norway
