Bed and waffles is just fabulous. The location is a 6 minute walk into town or 15 minute if your walking in snow and ice. The quirky design inside adds to the absence. In the hall/ reception there are ice spikes that you can borrow for the day, well worth it as we were here in February. Jurgen supplies you with everything you need to make fantastic waffles for breakfast. And the view from our room no7 was without doubt the icing on the cake. Loved this place so much we are already planning our return.

We spent two lovely nights at this great place. Jørgan is a truly great host and the whole house is decorated with gorgeous little details like original vintage type writers. We've be especially lucky to get the room with the great view over the city below. Making fresh waffles from the dough delivered to your room in the morning and eating them still hot together with homemade strawberry jam and lemon lemonade is a perfect start for exploring the city and area.
Very nice B&B in Tromsø with a really nice view over the city from the rooms and a very nice host (Jørgen). I've stayed here for 7 nights and we had so much fun. :) Just be careful: if you are not willing to step up from the city center (about 10 minutes) or if you love a "clear" atmosphere you'll be disappointed. It is cozy, warm and friendly.
We spent four nights here. Jørgen is an amazing host who was extremely helpful throughout our stay! He suggested many beautiful must-visit places. My friend and I felt like the personal touch made the whole experience much better compared to a usual hotel stay. The breakfast waffles are delicious, especially with the strawberry jam! The house has a view over the city which makes it magical! It's an about 5-10 minute walk to the city centre. Definitely recommend it!

Very helpful and friendly host. We got to see a spectacular Northern Lights show from our bedroom.
Jørgen is a great host, the waffles were good, and the house is cozy. There is a movie room at the top, they have skis and ice spikes for rental as well. The ice spikes (you put on your shoes) are free. An extra waffle costs 89 nok, you can make 4-5 waffles. Jørgen helped me see the northern lights from here.
This place feels like visiting an old friend, really cozy!
