Lovely atmosphere. Welcoming and friendly wait staff. Food is impeccable! Delicious and beautiful presentation. Clean & Upscale. Huge menu with many vegan and allergy friendly dishes. Can't wait to dine here again soon!

Superfriendly, polite and accomodating waiter. Quiet, soothing music, nice atmosphere. The dim sum combo was a bargain, the thai soup rich in taste and content. Difficult to leave

We tried the dim sum. Excellent dumplings and nice big menu. We couldn’t resist the Peking Duck, was a great starter to the dinner :) Atmosphere was lovely and service was very good. We saw the Soya’s seafood plate, that looked amazing! Half a lobster, monkfish and scallops. Next time getting this :) Will 100% be going back next time I am in Bergen.

Place looks fancy. Food is served in a thoughtful way. Unfortunately taste is not on par. Lacking punch and flavour. For what they are asking in price. Disappointed, ended up still hungry. Ordered lamb and soup starter, the main course arrived an hour later! Duck was dry and over cooked. Not recommending. Not for that price (over 1000 nok for 2 people).

Soya Restaurant Bergen: Warmly welcomed by the kind staff members and the asian theme that the restaurant presents. Though depending on the popularity and the amount of customers, get ready to wait for your chosen dish for about 45 minutes. The long wait may seem boring at first but they make PERFECT quality dishes! Their choice of plates and the food that they serve is amazing and worth the wait! I am struggling to find any criticism that could help this community... maybe find a way to decrease wait time for us customers? Or maybe the lighting in some of the available seats; candles would fit this atmosphere. Honestly, this place is rewarding to visit and one of the most comfortable restaurants I have ever visited in Norway! 200% would come back here. Well done.

Large menu with good prices. Welcoming and professional staff. 1 star less due to somewhat lack of taste.

I guess the chef is someone non-Chinese but likes the Chinese food.. lol. shanxi liangpi (homemade noodle in menu) used actually Japanese udon noodle (not homemade, you can find them in Asian stores lol), good but super spicy and not tast like shanxiliangpi... gongbao chicken is all the gongbao chicken I tried in my life that is the most far away from the authentic Sichuan gongbao chicken. Steamed egg was not fully cooked and served as a starter (the chef corrected it very quickly though). Tempura vegetable is also funny, not crunchy and served with soya sauce(?). I find it an interesting experience (view it as a foreign chef trying cooking Chinese food), environment is also nice. But if you are looking for the best Chinese resteraunt in town (as they claimed) as a Chinese foodie, maybe this is not the right place for you :-). I see many people had a good experience with dim sums, maybe that is also what to go - usually resteraunts buy them instead of making them, so quality should be stable :-)

The foods is salty and the roasted pork rice and dumplings soup is not authentic Chinese cuisine. I think they should consider to not put too much salt on the foods.
