Western Norway Film Commission is located in Bergen, Norway on Georgernes Verft 12. Western Norway Film Commission is rated 5 out of 5 in the category motion pictures and film in Norway. Western Norway Film Commission was established in 1996 to attract film, tvc and television productions to Western Norway, and to promote the international growth of the regional film industry. WNFC works with film producers and production departments to help arrange customized location scouting trips, and to put together the perfect shoot. WNFC represents the spectacular fjord region of Norway, and stretches nearly 800km from north to south. The area brings together diverse locations - from glaciers and steep fjords, to abandoned industrial areas and scenic cities. The film commission is a non-profit organization - a joint initiative from the film sector and the counties of Hordaland, Sogn & Fjordane and Møre & Romsdal. WNFC provides free services at full confidentiality, and is an approved member of Association of Film Commissions International and European Film Commissioners Network. WNFC is also a partner in the North Sea Screen Partnership, and in Scandinavian Locations.
