The classic hobby and costume shop in Stavanger. While many hobby shops have given up Birkemo keeps on going strong. They have been a standard visit for myself and my family for almost if not over 50 years. Always supplying the the moat original toys, models, costumes etc. Located in a slightly cramped basement they keep up the classic look, have a well informed staff with an interest for what they offer.

My English train modelling husband became a little boy in this shop. You'll find a wide range of modelling supplies. Everything a modeller would need is available. Very enthusiastic, friendly and helpful staff.

My favourite store for hobby arts
Cosy store with radio controlled cars, model cars and airplanes, costumes and wigs among other costume accessories. Great customer service. Worth a visit!
A great little shop with a good range of model kits and paints as well as RC cars and planes etc. It's also one of the go-to shops around Halloween time for fancy dress items. Staff are friendly and helpful and prices are reasonable.
