This (Svendshamn) is the final resting place for the old storsundet lantern. The old lantern was replaced by a modern and state of lantern for the ferry traffic in Storsundet. Therefore the old lantern had been made into monument / tourist attraction. It's a nice place at Bud. Nice view of the Storsundet from the hillock where the lantern is placed.
