The company was founded by 15-year-old Tobias Mikalsen as a subsidiary of Mikalsen Operations ENK, and sold consumer gadgets such as smartphone accessories and minor home-improvement products, as well as consumer electronics such as projectors, simple smartphones, and home security systems. Operations were winded down in the latter half of 2015. The company announced through its website in November 2015 that the e-commerce store would close down domestic operations temporarily in early December 2015, and were expecting to relaunch with a global approach sometime in mid-2016. Dingzshop.com closed for business on December 10, 2015, and remains closed. Plans to relaunch the e-commerce store has been removed from its website and the website of its parent company, Mikalsen Operations.
