Fantastic historical place from the 2nd world war. It is recommended to book a tour, which are only available on Sundays. So visit on a Sunday and book in advance. This place has a terrible but interesting story. Worth a visit...
Impressive place. So much underground work. There a small city underground. Lot of fortifications from the Second World War.
The remains of one of those insane WWll military installations by the Germans. They view up there is great, though. Although I doubt they built that thing for the view in the first place.
Very cool place if you are into ww2 history. There are multiple guided tours into the tunnels on Sunday after 11am. Any other day, you have limited access into the main turret and some rooms. Sunday 100 NOK per person, any other day 60 NOK. There is a parking next to the main road but then you have to hike 2.7 km. You can also take the car all the way up, there is another parking. I recommend to walk left from the main turret into the forrest. There are trenches, bunkers etc. to explore.
Beautiful
Great museum, great hike to the museum and an amazing cafe with a great view. I love this place. So peaceful and calm. I do definitely recommend this place. It's the fløyen of Fjell kommune. I have been here multiple times and it never gets boring. Definitely worth the somewhat long drive.
Very interesting place but visit on tour days to see the full underground Fortress.
