A nice, sweet museum that describes the life of a tougher, rougher time of building the railroads for what is known to be one of the most beautiful train rides in the world. The back room gets a bit warm with no air conditioning. Located where massive cruise lines make their port calls.

Flåm is a neat fjord city. Train, boat, bike and hiking from the center. Camping possible.
A beautiful city with lots of attractions (bikes, boats, train). A comfortable walk though 20km from the hill to the end is not pleasant.
The 20km of scenic railway started construction in 1924. It took 15 years to build and 70 years of planning to completion. There were 20 tunnels of which 18 were build by hands. The railway project was completed in 1940.
What a wonderful place!
Very nice village at the termination of a very long fyord. We were there for day off cruise ship and enjoyed walking around and taking the tram on 45 minute tour of the village.
Nice museum. It's free and has the history of Flåm railway, realy worth å visit
