This is the only, but fortunately a fantastic, option for accomodation if you want to climb at Flatanger. The crag itself is not especially big. It's divided into three main areas, with the Hanshelleran Cave being the obvious draw to the area for elite climbers, with some of the world's most difficult routes. For people climbing 7a or below, there are plenty of options around the farmhouse and either side of the cave. There are routes for all levels of climbers. In terms of the lodging, I can only speak for rooms offered in the farmhouse. The house is fully equipped with all kitchen equipment for preparing your own meals, doing laundry, and one shared shower for all the house's occupants. The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. There is also the option to camp on the field outside of the farmhouse, or rent from the camp's owners. The hosts, Berit and Olav, are very kind and communicative over email. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location and lovely communal space. The toilets and showers are very basic and the kitchen has seen better days but it’s all fully functional.

The hosts are super nice people. The toilets and kitchen are well maintained and it is close to the crag. The internet doesn't reach out on the campsite ad especially not in the barn which is the only kind of warm spot you have access to. Also a ping pong table or something to do in rest days would make it a better place.

Great spot for camping while fighting the crag. Toilets, showers and kitchen corner available for campers. Free WiFi. Cheap.

Great climbing. You can buy a climbing guide at the camp. The camping in short walking distance from the crags. The camp has wc, showers, a small kitchen and wifi (if you camp near the buildings). It is also possible to get a room inside the house. There is no store at the camping. The nearest grocery store are about five minutes away from the camp. The camping is close to the sea, so it's probably possible to catch some fish in between the sessions at the crags.
