100% must try the Viking platter. Absolutely amazing and paired so well with the beers. An amazing meal in a stunning location. Can't wait to find an excuse to go back.

The place is beautiful, nice atmosphere and a very tasty variety of their own beers, the food is absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty ! This place is a must in a visit to Flåm. Service is great, helpful and they speak many languages. The viking plate to share is highly recommended.

One of my favourite brewpubs in Norway! Too bad they are so far away from Oslo but it's always worth the visit. Delicious beers and food.

The Food is amazing, the atmosphere is magical and the Indian waiter was very good and nice to us. I highly recommend the chicken as it was very delicious and the chicken salad also was good. Unfortunately the working hours of the restaurant is only from 6pm until 9pm. And it requires pre booking. The food is not Muslims friendly as everything have pork in it. So if your looking fateard to try the Viking dish’s you’re be disappointed. And there’s a sign by the door asking people to wait out side and every time I go I find a lot of people waiting outside the door loool.

At first this looked like a really cool authentic viking-style restaurant. But arriving there it felt more like a "tourist trap". Crowded and full of impolite people that don't know how to queue. You can't really make a table reservation do as soon as the doors opened, at 5 pm, everybody tried to get in front to get a table. Then there was the staff... They seemed very annoyed with their job. They had an "attitude". As a Dutch customer I could handle it but I think an American customer would be shocked by how unfriendly they were. But the food made up for a lot of it. 5 stars for the food! See the pictures. It all tasted great! But overall just 3 stars because of it being just a big tourist hotspot with staff that don't hide that they rather have you all leave asap.

Visited: September 2020 We had not much choice in restaurants as there are not many places to go in Flåm. As for being authentic or not I can't really tell and I don't really care about it as long as the food is delicious. We ordered the chicken breast and the only vegetarian option which was a burger. The food was decent and delicious. However the ambience is more like a busy pub and there are not many tables to sit, so we had to wait for about an hour before we got a table. But we could also have reserved a table in advance. Waiters didn't seem like Norwegians but the whole village is more like a tourist place anyway.
