Nice staff, but prices have gone up 40% in two years. The cabins are suffering severely from neglect; moisture damage in the bathroom and kitchenette, sofas falling apart and mattresses collapsed from sleeping visitors. Very poor maintenance. (any at all since new?). Fridges not tight, and handles broken. Used to be good, needs refurbishment! Cabins not worth the high price! We were a large group, this went for all of the lodgings.

The motel room is simple but perfect for its price. We slept 3 people in one room and it was OK. Room and the common spaces were clean. The common kitchen was not welcoming. Have seen worse in the area though.

Nice place, but the cabins are too shabby based on the high price. Needs some fixing up. The playground is not really suitable for kids above 6 years old.

Excellent location near the castle. Plenty of room for caravan and tent camping. A Spar market is 0.7km away. This campground features a cafe, a meeting room adjacent to the cafe, and a large outdoor deck with Weber grills. An added bonus is the free laundry room. The best campground I've been to in Southern Norway. Well worth staying here.

Nice place located very close to old town and a ferry which provides free rides to the city center every 15min 24/7. Camping has nice pitches with a lot of space, sanitary very clean and all services available you need for a camper.

It is a nice camping, really close to the old town (Gamlebyen) It is also really close to the pool area of Kongsten bad. It can be a bit noisy if you are staying closest to the road, but it is no biggie. The personnel is forthcoming and smiling, and happy to lend a hand.

In a beautiful old-town in Fredrikstad. Room for cars, walking distance to most things you would want and a nice environment and atmosphere in the entire city
