Girl at reception was real pro - cool, calm and very polite and helpful. With accurate guidance we found a nice place for a tent, even it was middle of high season in July -20. Nice paths along the falls. Showers alright, cooking room also alright - nothing special but worked just fine. Place for a tent is nice and flat, soft enough. Grass is short and everything clean and neat and well cared.

We were on a motorbike trip and stayed here for 1 night in The end of June. The check in was very fast and receptionist was pleasant. The WiFi was OK. The tent pitches were nice and flat and you could get your tent pegs into the ground .The facilities were clean and adequate although I feel they should provide a microwave oven. We pitched our tent at the rear of the side beside the river. If yoh are a light sleeper then do the pitch here as the river is very noisy. NOTE. On the campsite webpage it doesn't mention a charge of 80KR TO GET THE CODE FOR THE TOILETS . I would recommend this campsite.

It is a very crowded camping. We had found a spot for us, right where the signs said there was a spot. We were having dinner when someone from the camping, saying he was The Boss, said that our neighbors complained that we were too close, and that the rule was 3 meters. No one was 3 meters from each other in the entire camping, so we tried to understand why this rule, that no one had told us before, now was being implemented. Trying to explain to us, The Boss showed us the rules written in a paper. In Norwegian, which of course we didn't understand. He didn't even tried to solve our problem, said that we had two options: choose another spot or leave with the cash. He didn't understood our English right, said that to us and didn't even try to call for another person to understand what we were saying. Obviously, we felt that we were not welcome, so we asked for our money back. The Boss couldn't make a cancellation on the credit card and wanted to return the money in NOK, what we didn't wanted because we were leaving in a few days and struggling to spend the money that we had withdrawn. In the end, after a lot of discussion, we left with the cash. It is a very beautiful place, but not worth it in my opinion. Observation: everyone was less than 3m from each other. It wasn't only us.

Friendly staff at a camping that is well worth its price! The view is absolutely miraculous! I recommend staying here at least one night and taking the ferry up and down to Hellesylt. I took over 80 photos on that ferry only. The sunset was one of the most beautiful sunsets I ever saw. But this review was about the Campsite itself, sanitary is clean although you might have to Wait a little to use it. There is a kitchen and washing place. Sanitary and kitchen are a bit of walk if you are on the last two lanes of tent spots but I didnt mind the walk, even in the evening you have a great view till you get there
