After making the worlds most expensive iPod called "iDiamond iPod" in 2007, he got a lot of publicity in the media all over the world. The iPod is just made in one limited piece, which was donated to charity as part of a Quintessentially event in London in March 2008 and rised approx 40,000 USD for the cause. Heyerdahl has also crafted another sought-after haute electronic item - the world’s most exclusive earphones. This new creation is named ”iDiamond ear”, and is encrusted by 204 diamonds. In 2008 Heyerdahl designed a Nokia diamond telephone in collaboration with Nokia. This was called "Nokia 8800 Diamond", and was made in tree different models, and launched in 2008 for the Norwegian, Chinese, and Hong Kong / Taiwan market. The recant project "Zulu by Heyerdahl" is a fantastic diamond ring that will also help give back something to the continent from where the diamonds originate. Zulu by Heyerdahl is a specially designed and exclusive diamond ring, and all proceeds from its sale will go towards the building of houses with the help of Zulufadder (“Zulu sponsor”). For every ring that is sold, a house will be built.
