This was a special experience for us since we didn't know there was a jewish community in Trondheim. The museum is pretty small but is well organized and very interesting. We were at the tour which took us to the synagogue (located upstairs) and to the museum itself. The tour was very informative and interesting. We highly recommend on this museum.

Thank you to the staff who showed us around today. I always been interested in the Trondheim Jewish community and it is humbling there is still a functioning synagogue in the city 80 years after the Holocaust almost wiped out the community - the exhibition was incredibly moving and should be a lesson to those who continue to harbour anti semitic views.
Before you go make sure you check the schedule. Was there on vacation in the summer with my wife and the place was closed, very disappointing but our own fault for not looking into it first. Next time I'm in Norway I will definitely try and go back.
Good variety of collections .
Located in the (2nd) northern-most synagogue in the world!
One of the two synagogues in Norway. It's fantastic that they open for guided tour under appointment.
Fascinating with facts and information
