Kvitfjell has it all! Relatively close to the city, always snow and slopes in perfect conditions during Christmas, and with almost no one around! I often get the feeling that it is a private resort! 5 ski cafes ranging from anything from a local award winning hot dogs to luxury dining, still with your ski boots on! It can't get much better!!!

The place is beautifully situated up the mountain with fantastic view up the resort
Great place. Many different options for all levels. Though be aware that a lot of the red slopes could feel black on some parts. The Olympia slope is a classic but requires a skilled person to take. Can be a bit crowded in weekends, but weekdays the place isn't that populated so the slopes is quite clear.
Kvitfjell is one to visit. It's home to one of the most challenging downhill slopes in the world. On the south west side you have many other slopes to choose from and family friendly too. However, just like Hemsedal, the view on a fine sunny day is breath taking. Off-pist possibilities are many and suites any skier. Hafjell, which is about 30 min away is well worth a visit once you are in the area, and can easily be combined.
Best skiing holiday I have ever had
Nice ski resort. Good runs.
Perfect place for winter holidays for families with kids. Numerous ski slopes of various difficulty, free facilities for youngest kids, large parking.
