Quite nice and cosy accommodation in very picturesque surroundings by the sea. Location is quite far from nearest town, so there are no shops, cafes etc. near-by. Rooms were small but tidy and there was a common room with TV and facilities for cooking. Breakfast buffet was ok, rather modest, but enough to fill your stomach. Also had dinner, food was very good. Friendly staff.
Very nice place to take a break and relax. The Robur are fairly up-to-date with a modern bathroom. If you include breakfast you'll get an average selection and quality. If not, you have all the necessary appliances in your room. If you have a car available you'll be fine, otherwise it's a bit far of city centre of Leknes.
Nice place in general, the people are friendly. The local fishermen are not very friendly with sailors, but that’s ok.
I have never been treated so unprofessionally by the hotel owner/director during my trips. Extremely bad business and leadership. What a shame for a beautiful place like this. We stayed two nights at Statles Rorbusenter. First positive things - apartment was nice and decent. I left my IpadPro to charge during our few hours hiking trip - and informed that no room cleaning was needed during that time. When we came back towels were changed and towels were located near to IPad. However - IPad electric wire charging head was broken down into IPad charging inlet (hole). IPad was not functioning and cable was broken. Obvious and only probable reason was that cleaning person was accidentally broken charging cable and IPad charging inlet when chancing towels. This is understandable - accidents happen. However, what was a huge surprise for me that person in charge (owner/director?) of this Statles Rorbusenter hotel and conference center was not cooperative at all. He said that 1) cleaning person only changed towels and did not cause accident and 2) phone charging is not allowed when away from the room. I was asking only cover broken cable expenses since I was able to remove broken pieces inside the IPad. It was clear that director did not believe my explanation about accident and wanted to start communication about charging cable (30) via the hotel insurance company. I am traveling quite a lot. Normally customers are perfectly treated in case of accident which are caused by the hotel. It seems that this is not the strategy with this director. Their strategy seems to be “customer is never right”.
