A great story of resistance movement from the war and an apt memorial. Though the Birch tree standing at present is not the original one that was planted. It has been replaced but the spirit lives on and represents the resilience and resistance to the occupation during the second world war. A nice place to relax and reflect on history. There are walking trails close by in the woods.
