Norsk elbilforening har siden etableringen i 1995 jobbet for energieffektive, ladbare kjøretøy som helt eller delvis er drevet av fornybar elektrisitet . Elbilforeningen er i sterk vekst, er verdens største i sitt slag og har i 2018 passert 5000 medlemmer. Elbilforeningen har, i tillegg til å hjelpe medlemmene med forbrukerspørsmål, en finger med i spillet i det meste som skjer politisk for å tilrettelegge for elbil. Vi er en forbrukerorganisasjon som samarbeider med myndigheter, organisasjoner og industri. Markedet vi skaper, vil over tid resultere i bedre og rimeligere elbiler. Vi har ved inngangen til 2018 ti lokalforeninger (dekker 15 fylker): Agder (Aust- og Vest-Agder), Oslo/Akershus, Hordaland, Mjøsen (Oppland og Hedmark), Møre og Romsdal, Nordland, Rogaland, Troms/Finnmark, Trøndelag og Vestfold/Telemark. Sekretariatet i Oslo har 17 fast ansatte (januar 2018), og ledes av generalsekretær Christina Bu. ENGLISH: The Norwegian EV Association has since its foundation in 1995 been promoting energy effective vehicles which are run solely or partly on renewable electricity. The association - the largest of its kind worldwide - enjoys a stable and solid growth, having more than 50,000 members in winter 2018. The Norwegian EV Association plays a major part in facilitating framework for the Norwegian EV society. We serve as a consumer organization that cooperates with the government, other organizations and the industry. The market we create, will result in ever better and more affordable EVs. The Norwegian EV Association has 10 local branches covering 15 counties: Agder (Aust- og Vest-Agder), Oslo/Akershus, Hordaland, Mjøsen (Oppland og Hedmark), Møre og Romsdal, Nordland, Rogaland, Troms/Finnmark, Trøndelag og Vestfold/Telemark. The main office in downtown Oslo has 17 permanent employees, managed by Secretary General Christina Bu.
