Exciting place with a lot of history. A decent hotel, Restaurant and other activities. It also is a good place for a historic walk around the Island.

Interesting, but more like one time to see. Food on island is not good, so it is more like picnic, sightseeing and swimming destination

Historical fortress, that made a big impact when Norway was attacked on the 9th of April 1940 by Nazi Germany. The fortress were able to sink the DKM Blucher, making that attacking force to turn, gaining the King and the Government time to escape.

Cool historical site, not a lot of historic info about the place unless you look it up on your own. Fun to walk around and explore the island and pet the goats.
