Sushi was ok, way too westernised for my liking. Restaurant was rather noisy as it was packed. Sushi chef left the sushi idle on the counter for at least 10 mins before a waiter picked it up and served it. Sashimi was served immersed with the sauce??

Excellent food, service and environment. Really enjoy the moment
I have been here many times since they started their business here, and nicely they have been improving over time. On one hand, with high quality sea products in Norway, you can never get too wrong with sushi, but on the other hand, it's difficult to make perfect replicates. For example, the rice in the sushi here is never right (has been improved a lot, to be fair. It was not eatable initially). Overall, the sushi quality here can match Japanese average, but don't expect more. Probably for this reason, they have been shifting from its previous sushi focus to nowadays "Japanese fusion". In many ways food here is not really authentic Japanese, but rather customized much to Europeans. However, as long as you don't expect it to be Japanese and focus more on the taste, the fusion does a good job. For example, cheese roasted lobster here is quite well done, juicy and tender with very subtle flavor. And for this reason, sushi here is actually my last choice. Service quality varies from time to time, but some waiters are quite knowledgeable, patient and helpful.
Great Sushi, no doubts!
Happy camper here
Very very nice taking into account it being a very cold Tuesday early in January :)
This place absolutly deserve its reputation of the best sushis in town. Trust the chef with your menu, and you will not be disappointed!
