The food is really great, you should try it! They're also very nice and customer oriented; if there's ever a mistake with an order, they will be more than happy to rectify that mistake as quickly as possible. Their prices are low enough so that even students may enjoy their food from time to time, but even still I feel that you get more food than what you pay for (relative to most sushi restaurants' price ranges). The kitchen's noise does carry over into the seating area by a noticeable amount, but it's still definitely possible to have a pleasant and intimate conversation with a significant dinner guest, so I do not consider this point discouraging for eating there myself. However, most of their orders are probably take-away, and this means that the most important point on their review, is how good the food tastes: And in my opinion, it really does taste great. You should definitely feel encouraged to try out their cooking! 2020 edit/note: They have been very accommodating to adapting to the circumstances of the pandemic. For instance, they now place the card terminal on a small table further to the front of the counter, alongside an always-ready supply of AntiBac gel.

Sushi is good, the fish is fresh, they forget small things like chili mayo all the time but overall decent. Their warm dishes (pad thai etc) are lackluster and bear mark of that they don't know how to make an authentic dish (my pad Thai was more of a tomato-celery-chicken-noodle dish that an actual Pad Thai). Sushi and service was much better under the previous owners, when it was called Nori Sushi Bar, and the service quality has decreased as it has become Family Sushi instead. When someone suggests \let's get sushi\ i avoid this place because the food is lackluster.
