We were fascinated by this old church and the street that leads to it - Telthusbakken
The oldest church and the oldest building in general in Oslo. Worth a visit. It has a cemetery too making it extra spooky to visit it at night.
Rare example of early middle ages construction. Built in 1100. Wonderdul
The oldest standing medieval building in Oslo is Gamle Aker church, beautiful and unforgettable. Old cemetery with spectacular view over city.
Got the chance to see the inside. The church is an astonishing building from the middle ages around 1150. The qrchitectur is beautiful in it's simplicity. In the back of the church on a lower rim to to left one can see the Midgard snake as the church was build during the transition to Christianity.
Oldest church in Oslo. Austere interiors, try to catch a concert
