Can i put 6 stars please? :))) for it's perfect location, facilities, and most important - its people!! They do their job with a passion to help you progress in music, and achieve your aspirations of playing the piano :)) Emilia , the director of the school, is a wonderful pianist and composer - a true inspiration! No matter your level in piano, she adapts her teaching methods according to your skills, and will always keep you energetic and patient to progress further! The school is also a very interactive place and allows to meet with other students during various events it organizes. There are frequent student concerts in a very cozy setting (and here you certainly become proud of your piano achievemts!) and there are also relaxing \Music and wine\ concerts, opened to everyone, where we learn biography of a classical composer, enjoy a glass of wine, and then indulge ourselves into the atmosphere of classical music masterpieces, performed brilliantly by the teachers of the school :)! I love that place!

A great place to learn how to play the piano and to meet people that want to share their passion of music with you. The teachers customize their lessons to what you want to learn as a student, and give their outmost to pass on all their knowledge enthusiastically, so you leave your lesson energized and inspired. Apart from the normal weekly lessons, the studio organizes musical social events that are really nice to be a part of. I would recommend this place to everyone who is interested to start taking lessons in playing the piano for both children and adults, beginner or advanced.

I quit playing the piano when I was 9 years old, something I have regret so bad, but it was one of those mistakes you make as kids. Today I’m 52 and I have taken up piano lessons again. It was not an easy decision, because I was questioning myself if I was going to make it or give up immediately. The fact that my piano teacher is Emilia, the creator of Oslo International Piano Studio, have made this dream come true. I’ve been attending OIPS for three years already, and I have managed to take the Piano spirit back in me, I’m enjoying my lessons and learning to play some pieces. That encourage me to keep going. I would not have achieved this level without the patience and extremely good techniques that Emilia is teaching me. I highly recommend OIPS to all ages, Emilia and the other teachers are giving everything to make the students learn to play the piano in a friendly and comfortable environment.
