The worst service I have ever experienced! They did a fast exam, and did not have all the equipment they needed to preform the necessary procedure. You need a private health insurance in Norway to receive the help you need, and to be taken seriously. I will never return to this unprofessional place.

Horrible horrible service. You will see more nurses than patients here but you still have to wait for at least 2 hours before you see a doctor even if there’s not a lot of people in the queue. You will see nurses just walking from room to room while patients having to wait for hours. Definitely the worst health service I have ever experienced. Absolutely terrible
Best service! I waited about 1hr but the nurse and the doctor were very caring!
I called to make sure that I could come and receive help for my symptoms (acute hearing loss). I was told I could come later the same day. But when I arrived, I was immediately told that they do not help people with my symptoms. Why not tell me on the phone!?
Fantastic service, I waited a bit but I was very happy with how caring the Doctor was with me, Andrea I think was her name. She treated my eye and made sure all is done professionally and properly. Didn't cost more than 22 euros considering that I was in an other country (very expensive one?)
People those who are new to NORWAY/ OSLO its important information.. I have visited several times this Legevakt, few observations which one should keep in mind before visiting. 1. ONE should have minimum 4 to 5 hours once you there, you need to take coupon and wait for your turn its takes 15 to 30 mim depends on your patients crowd. 2. There would be 2-3 level nof consultantion before you are routed to expert. 3.There is nothing called urgent or emergency, the only situation when person having severo injury, bleeding, or extremely Critical condition near to death will be considered as priority case or else one has to wait for minimum 4 hrs. 4. One should carry RP card, since medicine prescribed by physicians are directly sent to medicine stores, you will not get any hard copy prescription etc..you need to share your RP card details at medical store and necessary medicine will be given... 5. Hospital staff nurses do the surgery, experience was not good..one Should be cautious..
Fantastic service, and to be honest way better than the NHS. I was on holiday with my partner in January, and developed a kidney infection on the 2nd day there. I was advised to go here, and I'm so glad I did. The receptionist saw me and was incredibly welcoming, and sat me down. Within 5 minutes I was called and the doctor ran some tests. Then told to wait in the waiting area whilst my test results were developed. After 30 minutes I was see again by another doctor who confirmed the kidney infection and ran blood and various other tests. Not long after it was confirmed quickly that it was a kidney infection and I needed IV antibiotics. The nurses got a bed ready for me and within around an hour and a half since arriving I had a bed on a ward with an IV drip. The nurses were so attentive whenever I needed something, I could not fault them, and the doctor I saw was also clear and reassuring. After an overnight stay and all the care, I was discharged and sent home with antibiotics. With the whole treatment costing around 20. I honestly cannot thank the nurses and doctors that saw me that day and helped me get the care that I needed. Thank you so much.
