Had to wait for more than an hour even the appointment was scheduled. It’s two persons there. One lady was super nice and polite, the other guy who took biometrics was the grumpiest guy I’ve ever met. Obvioulsly has no kids and thinks he has the most important job on the planet Earth taking pictures and fingerprints. Oh well.

All in all very positive experience. Personnel were polite, nice and helpful. They received clients at the set appointment so no unnecessary waiting.

Staff were very helpful and efficient. Today was their first day in the new premises. Signs and directions to be set in place to help guide where to go.

Very nice experience. The girl who recieved the documents had a big smile and was very helpful. Very polite and tried to help others in the room as well. slightly over crowded place but process is very quick and efficient.

The two people who process the applications are very nice and polite. However, there is a problem in terms of how the system works. I had an appointment at 9.50, and went to the Center at 9.30 as they suggested. They processed my application at around 11. It makes the appointment system irrelevant. It was the same with all the other people who had appointments. I understand that the company wants to earn extra money by accepting walk-ins- those people who hand't made appointments in advance. But when they accept every walk-in without a limit, it means that people who have appointments can wait for ever! Also, they kept us waiting in a small room where there were not even enough seats, and many people had to wait there standing with their small kids. There was a lady at the reception, who very rudely told people that there is no point in complaining, and that those people who are paying extra money will always have priority. I think she may need a training in customer relations.

We have applied for two UK VISAs at the Oslo TLScontact center and have been very frustrated on both occasions. On the first occasion their website broke and deleted all our documents. We then had to print them out at our own expense and return later in the day to submit them. On the second occasion the website failed while I was making my payment for the TLS appointment. The money was deducted from my account but I did not have an appointment. The customer help desk at TLS is slow to respond and initially sends back automated responses which are not helpful. I am still waiting for confirmation on my refund.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hand-out procedure went quite well. The elevator was too small and we hardly fitted the baby stroller inside. Also, the center had no facility for changing the baby diapers. The application fee for an infant same as an adult was a little weird for us since in most places around the world, infants are exempted from any application fee.
