Oslo University Hospital Ullevål is like family home which everyone is doing good, take care of patients and everyone including visitors. Very high quality service and the best traumatic surgery of physical injury. Huge hospital with a lot of stuff and medical department. Highly recommend :-)

I had a bad maternity experience there. Insensible people, lacking knowledge, and who were training on you and your baby. Coming in and out of the room in a shocking way, waking us up, grabbing the sleeping baby in a rush to take him for tests. Giving dangerous advice about sleeping with your newborn. Inconsiderate about how tired you are and the need you have to sleep, the list is long...

Been there 2 times. Both times at the Skadelegevakten. First time was a 5 star, greeted by nice staff, who were polite and ready to help. The next visit, today, I got greeted at first by a nice lady, but after I had waited for my place in the Q, the man/nurse/doctor that sat behind the glass was so rude. Didn't look me in the eyes once while he asked me questions about why I was there. I tried to be efficient because I understood that it was busy, but I didn't deserve that reaction or rudeness, and it was not like I had no reason to be there. Have a broken arm, already in a cast and was asking if they could help taking it off and check if everything was alright. The staff, no matter what, especially in a institution as this, should treat everyone with respect. No matter what.
