Outdoor theater performing the traditional Norwegian play \Peer Gynt\ by Henrik Ibsen, one week only each August. Directors take turns directing a combination of professional and amateur actors, with live music, on a stage set before the stunning view of Gålåvannet and the surrounding mountains. I've seen the play several times already, and it gets more and more intriguing each time. Amazing performances by everyone involved.

I never saw the play, but I got a good look at the scenery. Very nice
This year, our company Up Norway, welcomed international guests to Peer Gynt for the first time. The Peer Gynt play is worth a visit for the setting, for the entertainment and for the music alone, but most of all for the story. Even though the script was written more than 100 years ago, the moral just keeps getting more and more relevant. Worth a visit for anyone interested in Norwegian culture.
Wonderful theatre in enchanted surroundings.
Great show!
Fantastic, even in Norwegian!
