Sanguine Brasserie is in the Opera in Oslo. When I was there it was a lot of sun and heat and we sat outside. Maybe I am old-fashioned, but waiters in shorts at a restaurant that has ambitions to stay high do not fit at all. It took some time before the food arrived, but not for awfully long. I ordered a vegetarian salad and it was some of the best I have tasted. I would therefore recommend Sanguine Brasserie.

What a nice place for opera at Oslo. There is restaurant located at ground place.

Probably one of the most incompetent restaurants in Oslo. Just embarrassingly bad. Hardly anyone eating here, and you can wait 10 minutes to get seated. Beautiful sunny day in September, crowds sitting outside all over town, but here, at Sanguine's beautiful terrace, there is no one because they are not serving outside. Seriously, someone who knows what they are doing should be running this place. In any other city, with this location right on the waterfront, people would have to make reservations for tables because the place would be a hot ticket. In Oslo, forget it! Totally asleep at the wheel. Wish I could register 0 stars, but the reviewing policy doesn't allow it.
