Terrible customer service. I tried to get some help setting up a product I had bought and it turned out to be harder than I thought. The man helping me was rude and acted like I was dumb for buying the product, just because he didn't know how to set it up himself.
I took a computer from Elkjøp Skien nearly a year ago. He is still in the warranty. For almost a month, my computer has been in the service of a problem that appeared on network browsing. He is still there! A man from costumer service told me today that if they don't locate the problem I have to pay for that service work. The man was without badge and he refuse to tell me his all name. I pay for new laptop with warranty. I wait almost a month and still I don't have answer what is wrong. Some unknown person from CUSTOMER SERVICE told me that I have to pay becouse thay have to work. I attach photo with the problem. THIS IS NOT NORMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Good prices, poor service. Have bought things there many times and you usually have to wait long times for service and ones you get help they can point out where the product is in the store but there knowledge about the product is very limited. All the times I have got service there I'm stunned over the lack of knowledge they have but I want to point out the people that work there are friendly and nice and usually manage to help you in the end. Only ones have I gotten a bad salesperson there, he was helping me but then an older couple just interrupted him with a question and he just walked off to help them, I found that to be kinda rude considering I just waited 10min for him in the first place and yes I waited there few more minutes thinking he would come back but he never did. Do your research at home and use the store as an pick up point that might help you safe a lot off time.
Has a wide range of electrical and electronic goods, and staff who know their stuff, and will look things up for you if they don't have it in stock. Even though I did not actually buy anything on this most recent visit, the helpfulness of the staff still warrants 4 stars. Shame their equivalent stores in the UK don't seem to have the same level of staff training!
