Booked through dockspot and had all information in place prior to arrival. A little on the expensive side but with all that Son and the area surrounding has to offer, it was balanced in the end. Lots of restaurants/cafes, entertainment, shops, hair salon, grocery store, etc. One downside is that it is at the base of a river which means dirty water and not an ideal place for bathing/swimming.

This is a nice harbour to dock your boat. The surroundings are beautyful, and so is Son centre, which is only a short walk. In this Norwegian Pearl of a city you'll find most of what you'll need, and there's a lot of nice restaurants and nice boats and views. If you're here with a boat, be prepared for a packed marina. If you don't need shore power, just anchor up somewhere nearby: it's shielded waters and a lot of nice places to anchor up.
Nice place to have sun.
It's beautifull place. Remembers me Mikołajki in Poland.
No toilet service open in the night and no berthing service. Covid concerns are perhaps not always the best for the public.
Comfortable spacious parking bays. Shops nearby. Nice cosy harbour
Great marina and great facilities. Son has acres of atmosphere with great restaurants.
Expensive and you can feel quite assaulted if you don't pay on time the harbour fee. Otherwise a nice place to visit.
