Very nice apartment
like
All in all the stay was pleasant but like others have said the place is being renovated at the moment. when entering it is more like a half boarded up office building. The room itself is fine, had everything we needed and was clean. The parking next door can only be paid using an app which can only be found in the norwegian version of the app stores. The girl at the reception helped us to pay for the parking otherwise we would have had quite a problem.
We stayed at the apartments a couple of weeks ago. The apartment was unbearably hot and had no air conditioning, having the windows open did not help and the construction works (which we did not know about before booking) were quite loud. The kitchen hob did not work in the kitchen and the pillows in the bedroom were awful. Entrance to the apartments was filthy and despite Covid-19 the hand sanitiser for guests to use was empty, no hand soap was in the room either. There was also no staff on site to help with any issues. Do not recommend booking here!
It was very weary the stay in the apartment We stayed in it me and my family for almost 5 weeks. It made moving to Norway not a good experience. The rooms was dusty and dirty when we first moved in. Elevator always brake down. It cost 800nok just to get the room clean and after paying that much it wasn’t clean properly. The kitchen system was very very annoying Abdo very hard to handle. The place ya not baby friendly I suffered varying the stroller up and down the stairs everyday. I don’t recommend it at all.
Hotel should not be open under these conditions.
Rooms are quite neat and tidy after the renovation, although the lobby, coridoors and lifts are quite ancient. Apartment staff are horrible. During check-in there are often long lines and heavy waiting times. Strange enough at times when they have no crowds, they still refuse the help guests check-in and force them to use a horrendous self-check in machine. All in all, This place has good potential but needs better staff.
During our stay in Norway We have been in apartments Frogner House - First in Oslo, where we enjoyed a lot, and later we were hosted in Stavanger. The surprise was that the kitchen in Stavanger apartment was unfinished, the extraction system was not connected to anything and the smoke is returned to the room. We wrote to the customer help desk but after two days we have no news....
Nice place, converted from Radisson. Big comfortable rooms with kitchenette. Unfortunately breakfast is served to the rooms as a small package.
