My family and I were just shopping at this outlet and bought a lot of clothing. Just when we walked out of the store, two staff chased us out and said they were missing one baseball cap. They suspected us because I was wearing the exact same cap. I told them we bought the cap yesterday at the outlet in Sogndal yesterday but they were not immediately convinced and insisted to see the receipt. We did not have the receipt on us and it took quite a while for the staff to finally let us go. We feel outraged. They have no evidence or anything that can prove that we stole anything. The cap is very popular (one of the NY caps) and anyone could have the same one. I wonder if it was because we were Asian? And this could be racism? We are outraged and feel like we were wrongly accused. This is the worst experience of our trip in Norway. I hope the staff learn from this and stop being racist or stop accusing people without evidence.
