A great way to experience Oslo is to see an opera here. I have been three times and enjoyed each visit more than the last. The tickets are not out of reach (I am from the USA) and the easy to use surtitles are available in English, Norwegian or can be switched off. The hall is warm and the acoustics are fantastic. The orchestra and singers could be heard even at the quietest of pianissimos. There is a cafe, restaurant and free coat check.

Never actually been to a show here. I just love walking around on the roof and visiting the public area with Cafe and souvenir shop. Like taking pictures of the architecture inside and outside. I am planning to go to a proper opera performance some day. :)

Good place to visit. One can enjoy the beautiful city view from the terrace. Very important the clean and free toilets are available else you have to pay for it in Oslo.

I love this building, I’ve been up during good weather, bad weather and it is always awesome. Today we went for the guided visit inside and it is even more incredible: it is a 50 min visit that tells you a little story and lets you visit where the magic happens. Backstage, main stage, the workshop for costumes and all the props. Amazing!

An amazing experience, from glimpsing the Opera House, to entering this fantastic building. The production of Ibsen's Ghosts was an exceptional production, that should be experienced by all
