I'm sure the train tour is nice, but the walking one, which is what you get in 2020, is not worth it at all. 600m walk in pitch dark, not counting the head lights, hearing a few technical details about silver mining, is not interesting. Back and forth in a small part of the mine entry shaft. If you are imaginative, the shining parts along the way may be small silver parts rather than water drops.
A great experience! I would recommend it for sure. You go with the train inside the mines and learn the history.
Interesting and fun exploring the silvermine
Interesting tour but a bit too short. 6 degrees is quite chilly!
A very interesting tour deep into the mountains. Also a very profesjonell setup with a most competent guide. 6 centigrade temperature in the mines, so dress for the occasion.
Super nice guides and tutors telling about the mines and different minerals you can find in the Norwegian mountains.
Very interesting experience. The ride into the mine takes about 15 minutes. It's cold, so dress warm. Young guides give good information. There is an english speaking tour guide. Afterwards children can do some ( free or payed) activities. Total tour in the mine takes about an hour 2 times 15 minutes transport. Didn't give it 5 stars because i feel 1 hour is too short, i think a lot more could have been told about the mine.
