One of the better student villages in my opinion. The layout is interesting, and the location is great. Most people seem to find Berg Studentby visually pleasing. I found the rooms to be pretty well sound proofed, and were seldom bothered much by noise. There is also a small basketball net and a sand volleyball field in the village that anyone can use as they wish. Downsides are that you have to, though depending on your location in the village, take your laundry pretty far to get it washed. Second is that it is getting kind of expensive to live there, since the rent increases each year.

Relatively good and cheap student housing. Close to NTNU campus Gløshaugen, but a little far from the city centre. Walls could be prettier, and the common area inside some of the apartments should have been made larger with eight people living there. Otherwise good quality standards, and built relatively recently (2010 ish). Good bonus that the landlords (SiT) will come and fix problems very fast, often the same day or the next.
They got some great parties going on here ! :D
A lovely place for students to live. Close to NTNU and has a high standard.

Cheap and close to the university
