Looking to replace my worn out Nikon D800, I stopped in the store to see what they had. I was extremely happy with the knowledge and service provided by Martin and Alexander. Looking online, it seems their prices are at least compatible with the lowest prices online. It is interesting to note that if you are a visitor to Norway and leaving within 30 days, the 25% VAT return puts these camera prices below US prices.

On our cruise, one of our party misplaced her camera charger. We visited Japan photo in hopes to replace it. After looking for a cable, the manager looked in their extra old cables, found the fitting cable, and gave it to us for free. Thank you so much for going the extra mile! Excellent service

Great store to buy photo equipment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also you can print your photos there and they are very knowledgeable.
I gave them a 36 B&W roll to develop and scan. When I got it back 12 photos were missing. They've got a 100% satisfied guarantee that I'll be taking advantage of, and we'll see if my review changes after I've done that. EDIT: I used that guarantee three times in a row before I was satisfied. They repeatedly scanned the film without cleaning it properly, but in the end I got some stuff I was decently happy with. EDIT 2: I'm still giving them 3 stars, cuz this was a one-time-slipup :)
