Such a wonderful adventures taken last weekend. Fresh air, sunshine, plenty of hikers and breezy. Always wear warm clothes up and down to cover from freaking wind. So grateful for those hard working people to built another stairs and extra open lounge along the way for mountaineers and tourist to take a break .

One of highest peak around Bergen where you can get just amazing view on the city. There is a cablecar to get you in the top, but most people are walking...better say climbing :) as the trial is pretty steep. I was there in October, took the cablecar and then walked down on many stairs . The view was incredible !!!!
Great way to get to the top of the mountain! The cable car was a little old, but I felt safe in it. There were great views on the way up, but even better ones at the top. The top had a little shop where they also had maps for hiking. If you are planning on hiking make sure you grab one! (The trails are marked but when we took one that wasn't as heavily traveled it was nice to have!) Make sure you pack/ wear a wind breaker. It was windy and cold at the top. And if you are planning on hiking, pack an extra layer of warm clothes. We had rain, snow and sunshine on our hike.
The Ulriken cablecar is under contraction right now ,they are modifieding it ,so I did not use cable car but I went by foot til top of Ulriken .It is realy good and toff .From city center around 2.5 km and than stairs start that I think arround 600 miteres.There is nice view of city from top .
Had an awesome walk through town and arrived at the cable car looked scary at first but felt very safe inside was a nice clear day for the travel up and you can look down and see how small the town is. There was snow on th mountain top and it was a fun experience throwing snow with friends one of my favourite parts of bergen.
Ulrike is a must see in Bergen. The cable car is small, that’s why it takes 40-60 minutes to get on it. We came rather early at 11:00, but went up only in 40 minutes. There was a line near the enter. When you are up, take your time and don’t hurry up. There are mountains to explore over there. We didn’t have a lot of time, that’s why we didn’t walk around, but next time unsure we will do it. There are small roads everywhere and you don’t need to be very well equipped.
Amazing views. A must do if you are planning to visit Bergen!
