Knee deep in the snow looking over the partly frozen fjord

A resting place at the E75 only. But equipped with a functional and well designed building and equipment, which makes it a better place than most of the resting places in Europe. Besides, the site was used as an envelope habor by the German army during WWII, which is still visible from some ruins...

Mooie plek voor een stop en foto’s. Start van een lange route. De National Veg Varanger. Het laatste stuk van Vardø naar Hamningberg is bizar. Hele smalle weg door een zeer merkwaardig landschap.
